  • Summarize risk factors involved in pneumococcal vaccination decisions and consider the relevance of specific subtypes from a managed care perspective
  • Evaluate clinical data with novel pneumococcal conjugate vaccines and contextualize treatment options with current guidelines
  • Assess best practices for implementation of pneumococcal vaccination schedules to improve health outcomes for members of health plans

Target Audience

This activity is designed to meet the educational needs of managed care practitioners as well as primary care physicians, nurse practitioners, pharmacists, and other members of the multidisciplinary team who evaluate patients for vaccination needs.
